I am Javier,
I have stained many walls, since I started painting them in the late nineties, when I was 12 or 13 years old. Some years later, I began a degree in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, and obtained different scholarships to study at the Universities of Granada, Utrecht and Oxford. Back in Madrid, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Research in Art and Creation.

I combine mural painting with various activities in the contemporary art circuit and the living arts, having carried out projects in local spaces such as Matadero Madrid, La Casa Encendida, Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo, Teatro Pradillo, Sala de Arte Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid, CentroCentroCibeles, C Arte C, Museo Patio Herreriano or Museo de América, as well as in the galleries José Robles and Espacio Mínimo. I have also participated in exhibition projects, laboratories and taught workshops in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Holland, England, Switzerland and Germany.
